Aloes
 
 

Aloes grow in abundance throughout Zimbabwe. They act as homes for birds and insects which nest in them and as food for some animals. They also add beauty to the areas they grow in - their wonder flowers adding patches of colour to the bush.

One of the most common sites is that of spiders in their webs nestled between an aloe's leaves. On common spider to nest here is the Golden orb Spider.
