Zimbabwe is host to a number of aromatic and healing herbs.
Wildealse grows throughout the country and is a wild form of the wormwood family. It has been know to be used as a cure for malaria and is also used for releiving the symptons of colds and flu.
Wild basil is abundant and its aromatic leaves act as a natural insect repelant as well as being used to flavour stews and roasts.
